TSER (total solar energy rejected)
The percent of all solar energy a film keeps out: UV, visible light and infrared.
TSER is the best single number for comparing how much heat two films block.
A darker film blocks more visible light, so it can have a higher TSER even with weaker infrared rejection. Compare films at the same shade.
