Frequently asked questions

How dark can I tint my windows in Nevada?

Nevada law requires the front side windows to let through at least 35 percent of light, with a 7 percent tolerance. Rear side and rear windows can be darker if the vehicle has mirrors on both sides. See our Nevada tint law page for the full rule.

How long does window tint take?

Most cars take a few hours. We will give you a time when you book.

When can I roll my windows down after tint?

Leave them up for a few days so the film can cure. We will tell you the exact time for the film we install.

Why does new tint look hazy or have small bubbles?

Water trapped under the film takes time to dry out. Haze and small water pockets usually clear as the film cures. If they do not, call us.

What is paint protection film (PPF)?

PPF is a clear urethane film applied over painted panels. It takes rock chips, light scratches and bug damage so the paint under it does not.

Is PPF the same as a wrap?

No. A wrap is colored vinyl that changes how the car looks. PPF is clear and is made to protect the paint. Some films do both.

What does ceramic coating do?

It bonds to the clear coat and leaves a hard, slick layer. Water beads off and dirt washes off more easily. It does not stop rock chips. PPF does that.

Do I need paint correction before a coating or PPF?

Usually yes. Coatings and film lock in whatever is on the paint, including swirl marks. We check the paint and tell you what it needs.

Can you remove old tint or a wrap?

Yes. Ask for a quote and tell us what is on the car now.

Do you do homes and businesses?

Yes. We install architectural window film and interior surface wraps.
